Treycinn's a big boy

On October 1st, Treycinn became a big boy. :) We put him to bed, and not even a minute later he was walking out into the living room and crawling up into Sterling's lap... At first we thought Hailee had got him out of bed, but as soon as we put him back to bed, we weren't even out of the room yet and he had crawled out of his crib! Of course it was the funniest thing to watch, so we put him to bed 3 more times and watched him climb out. We were all laughing at him until he fell on his head...ok, it was time to take the side off and put the rails up. This is Trey's big boy bed!!! He is such a little booger that it took me an hour of putting him back into his bed over and over again, and finally having to sit right there by him, for him to stay in bed and fall asleep. We ended up with him in our bed in the middle of the night, but at least he didn't wake Hailee up for help out of his bed and us ending up with both of them sleeping with us! :)

Hey everybody. We are so excited to be apart of this whole blogging thing. Life is so busy, and we don't often get the chance to keep in touch with all of you.

Things have been crazy as usual in the Barrett~Schofield house. Raising 5 kids keeps us very busy. Thank goodness that school has started and we are finally getting into a routione. Cody and Taylor are in the 8th and 6th grades (Middle School), Carter is in the 2nd grade, and Hailee is in Preschool. So far, they are all doing great in school.

This past summer Taylor and Carter were busy with baseball, and then they went right into Football and Soccer. Next it will be 6th grade competitive Basketball for Taylor. Cody has been working hard on his skateboarding. He is so dedicated and disciplined to getting better and learning new tricks. Treycinn turned 2 in September and I swear, the "terrible 2's" started on exactly his birthday! LOL :) He is such a little sweetie and is just trying to keep up with his older brothers and sister, who think he is just the coolest little kid. He also has his daddy completely wrapped and he knows it.

Sterling has been working hard and really enjoys his job. The company that he is working for is such a good company and his employers are the best! They have taken Sterling and the kids tubing out on the lake, have had them up to their place to ride quads, and have invited us to a big Halloween Party that they do every year. We have been so fortunate and blessed for them coming into our lives.

For the first time in 8 years, I am NOT providing full time daycare. :) I watch 1 boy after school and some on the weekends. He is the easiest kid to watch. He is also really into skateboarding, so he and Cody are usually always at the skatepark...unless they are here eating. I love being able to focus more time on our children. I get to have more quality time with Hailee and Trey during the day, and am actually able to sit down with the kids after school and help them with their homework...what I can understand anyway! Everyone around here is quick to agree that mom is a much happier and nicer mom and wife!

As for Avery, Giavana, and Tatiana... we haven't been able to see them, but are hoping to introduce them to their Family soon. Carter and Avery are the same age, and the girls and Hailee are about 6 months apart. So, Sterling has been able to watch Carter and Hailee grow over the last 3 years and can kind of guess where the other kids are at in development and what they are into. He aches for the day that he can hold them in his arms again.

Well, that is enough for now to get this going... lol :)
